Have your heard the latest about Redbox? As you know Redbox has these stand alone kiosks, where you can rent DVDs for $1 a day. It seems the real problem has been with these that the box does not register their return and some have been hit with late fees as high as $75. I know they say no late fees but that has not stopped Redbox from charging them. It has gotten so bad that the BBB has pulled their accreditation of Redbox and several class action lawsuits are about to hit the courts filed be people who feel they have been falsely charged these severe late fees. To be fair Redbox has made an attempt to solve these complaints, but some have waited as long as a year to get a refund…so be warned.
