Even though Hurricane Issac is gone, there are parts of the Midwest who still feel the wrath of Issac. Both through heavy rain and through what most of us don’t need HEAT!!. In fact it is 94 right now where I live. We also face the threat of heavy showers and Thunderstorms for the next 4 days. But that isn’t the worst of it. According to those forecasters you see on TV. The weather isn’t going to get less oppressive to at least Wednesday Sept 5th. No wonder many around here are talking about taking a day off to relax. We need it after this summer. Bring on Fall!!!

Which are now being played on Furry 2 Furry and have become wildly popular there.

Below are the rules Heyoka, one of the Masters of the Game posted there:

One person will be randomly selected to be the werebeast. The werebeast may kill one person each round. He also gets the ability to choose to bite someone instead of killing. This ability can only be used once during the game. The child werebeast will remain unaware of the original werebeast’s identity. The child werebeast cannot kill until the original werebeast dies. He does not have the ability to bite others. Kill or bite choices need to be PMed to me before the end of the round or I will randomly select a kill.

One person will be randomly selected to be the gypsy. Each round, the gypsy can choose to reveal the true nature of one other player by PMing me. The gypsy can choose to reveal the truth to other players, but must tread carefully since the werebeast will be hunting for the one person who can discover them.

If we get 12+ players, there will be an additional role: concoctor. This character has the ability to brew two potions during the course of the game. One potion will kill any player of the concoctor’s choosing. The other will resurrect a player who has been killed the night before. Only the death potion may be used on the concoctor himself. The concotor may use both potions during the same round if desired.

The rest of the group will be innocents. These people have no special powers and are simply fighting to survive.

Each round, all players vote for one person to kill off. The name of the person they are voting for must be bolded and underlined. For instance, “I think Heyoka is guilty.” This is to make it easier for me to tally votes. You may rescind votes if you change your mind, but bold the names of the person you’re rescinding your vote from and the new person you’re voting for. For instance, “I rescind my vote for Heyoka and vote for Mestopho.”

At the end of each round, I will tally the votes and whoever has the highest number of votes will be killed off. Ties will be resolved by me flipping a coin or using a random number generator in the case of a three-way tie. The game ends when the number of the werebeasts equals the number of the innocents, or when all the werebeasts are killed.

Each round will feature a narration that I’ve written. This mostly serves to add a story to the game, but they also will contain subtle clues that point to the werewolf. Each round of voting will last 48 hours and I will have a narration up within 2-6 hours of voting closure.

**NOTE: THIS IS NOT A ROLE PLAYING GAME.** You are allowed to make a character simply because it adds another dimension of fun and creativity to the narrations. Once you post your sign-up sheet, YOUR CHARACTER IS IN MY HANDS. I get to choose his/her actions, words, thoughts, etc. I also cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to include everything you list in your profile. Because of this, I advise you to pick a character you’re not so attached to that you can’t stand to see them misrepresented.

You may only have one instance where you don’t vote. If you don’t vote for two rounds, you will be killed off in some way of my choosing. So please only sign up if you think you can commit to voting every 1-2 days.

Sounds like a rather interesting game….

I have just made life easier for you fans of furry comic fans. I have made arrangement with Virtual Fox to post comics from my collection to the blog. I have just posted my very first one just a few minutes ago. The Ups and Downs of Animorphic Relationships, is just the first. Keep checking Virtual Fox Distribution to see what others I posted.

UPDATE: For those who still use Dail-up it seems the Virtual Fox blog and freeze up your browser in to a never ending series of constantly loading. So if you still use Dial Up stay away from Virtual Fox

Recently I was updating a Atube Catcher, and in there update you have the option for the Ask Toolbar. I have used Ask.com before and it’s fairly good search tool. But I hate toolbars and clicked no. Guess what the Toolbar installed anyway. Up until I discovered this, my computer was not only running slow, but my download speeds slowed to just 1/3 of what it should be. Once it was gone of course everything went back to normal.
