My Very 1st Fur Con: Dealer’s Den and places to eat

I would honestly suggest go through Dealer’s Den and the spaces they have to sell art literally more than once before you buy anything. For that is what you will find anything and everything furry you can imagine from art, tails, hats and all sorts of everything including collars, T Shirts, buttons and more quality stuffed animals than you’ll find at any Toy R Us, and more.

Just remember the good stuff starts at $40 and only goes up.

Speaking of expensive the food at the Hotel, think $20 and up. I admit the deal they have at the American Grill at the Hyatt is $15 at the buffet and it is all you can eat. But soft drinks are $3.30 extra and that’s all you can drink, just remember your con badge gives you a slight discount. But it is excellent.

Come back tomorrow for a look at Floor Wars and random thoughts on Midwest Furfest 2013

One Fur’s Warning about a Crooked Artist

It is my policy if someone a legitimate complaint about someone defrauding any furry to post that complaint along with the original link

From digidude86:

last year attended Midwest Furfest and I commissioned Darius Koopa to do a drawing of my fursona, the table he set up was pretty convincing so I hired him, I paid $50 CASH up front and we exchanged contact info, so Ive been talking to him on skype and for over 3 months after I paid him he still hasnt done my work and I started asking for my money back and he gave me this bullshit story that his room mates car needed $1300 worth repairs to make it safe, so I told him if he dosent return my money that I will file a police report on him and a few minutes later he posted on his FA page that I was a idiot and stuff and shortly after that he blocked me on skype, so I contacted the Rosemount Police Deportment about this issue and they said since the guy is out of state they couldnt do much and they told me if he shows up this year to the convention that I should confront him and ask for my money back and if he were to refuse they instructed me to call them and he would be arrested for petty theft, when I went to midwest furfest this year I did talk to the directors and reported him, after that I went to the artist ally and talked to a few people and Ive learned I wasnt the only one that got screwed over like this, he has pulled the same shit with alot of people at many different conventions around the county, if you see him at any convention or furmeet, DO NOT COMMISSION HIM UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE WHAT EVER HE CHARGES!!!!!!

Im writing this so you guys dont get screwed over like I did Darius Koop is nothing but a low life scammer, and I dont think hes a furry at all, from what I know furs dont do that kinda stupid ass shit to one another
