After a friend kept on saying this one store’s Hot Chocolate was better than the rest I decided to do my own taste test. I went to Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonalds and Starbucks. I know there are more out there, but those 3 are the most common. First of all none of them are bad, they are worth what you pay for them. Besides if you don’t drink coffee like me and you want something hot to drink there is nothing like a good hot chocolate.

The Results…

Dunkin’ Donuts was average at best, it was good but nothing special.

So is there a clear winner…

Call it more of a close tie than anything else, and yes McDonalds Hot Chocolate is just as good as Starbucks. It depends on what your looking for. Even though both put whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. McDonalds is just creamier. While Starbucks has a stronger chocolate flavor. It’s more a matter of what your looking for taste wise.

It was announced on September 3, 2013, that Furry Connection North Ann Arbor, MI would conclude after six years of operations. No explanation was give why.

Last night I went to my very first Furmeet, frankly I didn’t know what to expect, or even alone how I would be treated. Since all of this was done through Facebook, I admit I my fears were getting the best of me as I stood in front to the restaurant where this meeting was to take place.

I almost asked the people who worked there where this meeting was to take place, after I made my order. As my fears were getting the better of me. But since it would be a little while before my food was ready I decided to look around. The 2 guys sitting at a table with their laptops and one of them wearing furry ears. I knew I found them. Once I introduced myself and the name I use on Facebbok. You know they could not be any nicer. Even though we were different ages we all got along, and the same could be said when the rest of them showed up later.

They actually invited me to a game of Lazer Tag which was to take place tonight which I had to turn down due to an injury to my wrist…which hasn’t fully healed yet.

All I can say if you find about a Furmeet that is taking place in or near where you live do what you have to do to go you will have a great time…like I did. I will be back as they meet weekly.
