Furs like to talk like everyone else and you hear things…

A new furry fanzine is in the works, they are in the early stages.

The Famous Dr. Kage seems to want to quit his position at Anthrocon. But the staff there want let him, because face it since he been in charge it has become the #1 fur con in the US. Also when he tours the various cons, don’t expect a lot of new material if you heard him recently at another con. He usually tells the same stories. Btw so do a lot of stand up comics.

I know you all heard about this and it’s possible to find the complete episode on You Tube just look for Dr Phil Animal obsessed. I know I posted a lot of links in the past but I refuse to link that episode.

Call this what it is a review of the episode with my opinions. You could call it for the most part the extremes of the fandom with Boomer at the center of it. This man who wants to live like a dog simply creeps me out. Dr. Phil is obviously anti furry, as he repeatedly says dump the furry. Most furries I know have jobs, their own places to live, hell there were some at Midwest Furfest who brought there entire family…kids and all. We do not sponge off of any family members, we for the most part are productive members of society. I for one pay taxes.

So was this anti furry…in a single word YES. Without a single doubt in my mind. Furries are no more obsessed than fans of science fiction, anime or anything else you can think of. We all have are cosplay, art and costumes. Except the number at our conventions are smaller compared to some of them, and we do not reenact the long ago battles.
