I have always known my fursona was a wolf, ever since I discovered him back when I was just 5. Yes I was a child furry but didn’t know it. I admit I discovered this furry world of ours later than most and I loved it from the start. But this is about finding your true fursona.
To be brutally honest up until, very recently I hadn’t even thought about what my fursona looked like, until this comic book my furmmet decided to do. I know he was a red wolf, but beyond that not much else I wasn’t even sure if he wore clothes our not. Until I saw this one artist in our group showed me one based upon my just throwing ideas out there…and I was impressed. That was when I began thinking what refinements that would make my fursona mine.
….and yes it really took someone to do something before I began to think about it, and it really began with this by Slate Dane.
Which was the prototype, and wait until you see the finished product, which was improved upon by another artist. Holy shit it is good.
But that cause me to think about improvements. Like a leather trench coat like the ones worn in The Matrix. There is a fur con coming around me this December and I will get that done then meanwhile I’ll live with the one they are suppose to give me this Thursday. I hope.
Well any way the reason I told you all of this sometimes it just takes, getting your fursona done more than once before you finally figure out what they look like.
