In Chicago where I live we have Navy Pier (The link I posted will explain what it is) To us locals, it’s a bit of a tourist trap. Lots of souvenirs, restaurants, and shops. It’s also sorta a place to hang out. This is where on Oct 25 I went with a couple of my fellow furries to hangout. You see they were running a costume contest and there were some really nice costumes, everything from a Red Box and Walgreenss to a porta potty (yes it was someone actual costume) to the best one of the night a hand built Skeksis from Dark Crystal in all it’s spender.
Btw there were only 2 in full fursuit and I was apart of that group. Overall I really had a lot of fun.
Especially the costume I wore and I did not enter the contest they had. I just wore a lab coat handing out lollypops. Where I was given the name Doctor Good Time.
It wasn’t so much of what was or what wasn’t going on that I liked so much it was hanging out with other furries, and really enjoying each others company.
So will I be back next year Hell Yes!!!
