A series of remarkable events have taken place in the last week or so. The biggest is on Wikifur, as some of you know I have complained a lot lately because you got these hardcore collectors of furry fanzines and not a mention of any of them on Wikifur. I can’t say that any more, for I am delighted to tell you that collectors have been posting full pages that so far covers ever furry fanzine I have dared to check.

Then there is this report I saw on Facebook yesterday, that Samantha Kemple former Chair of MFF announced that there was 2 furry history books which are scheduled to come out next year. Someone on Twitter tells me one of the possible titles is “Furry Nation”. But more on that later.

The more I dig into furry history the more interesting, if not surprising the stuff I find. Furloose by Scott Alston is one of them. I rate it off as one of the most delightful comics I ever seen. Obviously an adult comic with a lot of hardcore material. But what I really loved was the comic included in this issue called “Bumper Crop” by Briano and Steven Blake which sorta explains why sexual roleplay can lead to huge vegetables. Believe me I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, just go check out the issue. Believe me it’s worth a download just for that comic alone.
