Christmas is not a religious event anymore it’s gone way too commerical for that. It’s all about the gifts and nothing else, I read something recently that said 47% of all gifts are returned to the store. But people will attempt to kill one another for what they think is the perfect gift. Not making a whole lot of money myself and Volunteering at the VA Hospital what I see are a lot of people that would be happy to get a scarf, or a bag filled with groceries. They are not going to fuss over something someone gave to them that they didn’t like. They are happy to get something, that someone is thinking about them and not being pushed under the rug like the people in Washington seem to be doing a lot these days. Go ahead celebrate the all mighty gift, at least I know by giving what I could to a needy Vet, that someone would be happy.
