we decided to postpone the date of this year’s Furkon to July 13-17, 2022. Of course, it was not an easy decision, but in the circumstances it turned out to be necessary.

The current epidemiological situation in Poland, as well as the constant uncertainty of what the future will bring, force us to revise our plans. We realize that our decision to postpone the convention is sad news for you. April was usually the moment when we launched the website with the application form, opened the booking of seats, or warmed up the pre-convention atmosphere …

The decision to postpone the event is one of the most difficult decisions that can be made by an organizer – the more that we have already started some preparations. As a team, first of all, we want Futerkon to be a regular opportunity for you to spend time with other furries. We want to provide you with free and attractive conditions for partying and meetings. Unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic and the lack of prospects for improving the situation in the near future effectively prevent us from planning the Furkon, program, accommodation or safety requirements. In addition, nobody really knows today what the situation in the country and in the world will look like in three months.

Looking forward to next year, we plan to continue to build your interest through some surprising yet interesting events. Opening the veil of secrecy, one of the attractions starts with “movie” and ends with the word “promotional”! We hope that these activities will to some extent satisfy your hunger for Furkon, while we will prepare the convention for its opening on July 13, 2022.
