Arizona Fur Con will return October 17-19, 2025
AZFC Journey to a new home!
We also have a new venue at the Doubletree on Alma School/US60. This means we will all be in one building and have several food locations nearby.

Arizona Fur Con (AFC), the cherished celebration of creativity and community, is back! MPE is thrilled to announce that through the passion and dedication of the Arizona Fur Con community, AFC will continue to thrive beyond its previously announced final year.
Earlier this year, MPE communicated the difficult decision to close the doors on Arizona Fur Con due to rising costs and personal health considerations of the primary organizer. However, the response from the community was overwhelming, with many expressing interests in keeping the spirit of AFC alive.
In response to this outpouring of support, a dedicated group from within the community has offered to establish a community-driven board to manage and run the event annually. This diverse and enthusiastic team will ensure that AFC remains a vibrant celebration of creativity, camaraderie, and community spirit.
MPE will continue to play a vital role in Arizona Fur Con’s future by assisting with venue negotiations, event equipment provision, and financial support, ensuring a seamless transition and a successful event year after year.
In addition to these exciting changes, AFC will be held at a new location that offers more favorable rental costs and improved hotel accommodations, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
“We are absolutely delighted to see Arizona Fur Con continue as a community-driven event,” said Greg Fennell at MPE. “The community’s passion and dedication have been truly inspiring, and we are committed to supporting their vision to ensure AFC remains a highlight of the year for many.”

Thank you all for coming to AFC as we danced the weekend away. This year, we had 224 suiters in the parade, 1,402 attendees, and we raised $3,169.30 for The Greyhound Guild.

Thank you all for another wonderful year. Our tenth year couldnt have been anymore special. As this convention comes to a close. We’d had 144 suiters in the parade. 1,387 was our attendance, And thanks to all of you, we raised $2,676 for our charity, Any Rat Rescue.
