As some of our staff sit around in meetings after the grind of the day is done, putting on this event only 34 something days away, I’m reminded that it takes a dedicated team of very special people to put on such an amazing event.

Last year our friend Shutter helped create one of the most moving thank you videos we’ve ever done. Take some time out of your night and give it a watch. We’d be mighty thankful if you do.

Thank you staff. Welcome newbies. And we’ll be reaching out to all you volunteers soon.

We don’t do this because we have to, we do this because we want you to see such a special event through our eyes, and what an incredible community this really is.

This past weekend, a devastating flash flood hit Ohio Valley, WV. In response, many artists (including several from our very own art department) have banded together to offer free art for anyone who donates to any of the causes listed in the thread linked here: https://bsky.app/profile/valcritter.bsky.social/post/3lrqedlplu22a

This flood has caused an untold amount of damage to the community, and has directly impacted the lives and livelihoods of several of our staffers. That includes $1,122.08 from @TaylorxxWolfie’s insane bucket brigade run! 🤯
