You might of heard Jackie Robinson West was stripped yesterday of it’s title because of a residency issue with some of it’s players. The Little League assn. then gave the title to Nevada team where some of it’s players live 50 miles apart according to some reports. Keep in mind the Jackie Robinson was over some players living more than 7 blocks away from one another. So how can this be? Did you know the little league assn. only has this residency requirement in poor black areas of the country. While the rich white areas have no such rule. Is this really a race issue….I want to go on the record that I am white myself and a furry. I strongly believe everyone should play by the same rules. But let’s face the facts Jackie Robinson West where it’s players had to struggle to even get uniforms, let alone have money for the playoffs. Was a HUGE struggle for them. By all rights they should not of been in the playoffs…according to some. But they made it and they won. Hell YES this is a race issue, and what is fair. you know the number of scandals that have faced professional and college teams with issues far worse than how many blocks away you live…and were allowed to keep their title. Look it up, there are 100s of examples. Just because these kids are poor and black. That these rich white folks behind this, would take away from the miracle. Mark my words…the law is on these kids side. What is fair is fair and what these kids are now facing isn’t. I clearly support the players of Jackie Robinson West.
