In an article on intomore.com Chris Stedman talks about his very first experience at a fur con ironically it is the same one I attend every year Midwest FurFest.

First, there was one—a fox with an enormous tail of unnaturally red fur—and then another, a grinning blue wolf with a jaunty tongue slipping from his jowl. Soon, there were swarms of them, packs of humans wearing tails, ears, and some even bright, full-body animal suits, all migrating toward the Chicago O’Hare Hyatt.

NJ town wants to fine you $200 for passing through

It seems Leonia, NJ wants to start charging non residents $200 for passing through on Rush Hour. As the article from click2houston says this will sink the local economy and not to mention it is possibly illegal, which is the reason the ACLU is getting involved.

SAN JOSE — By Sunday morning, after partying all weekend in heavy, head-to-toe animal costumes, many FurCon attendees outside the convention center downtown had scaled down to just their tails or paws.

The Mercury News did a rather nice piece on Further Confusion which took place recently in San Jose, CA. It is nice to see a local news source to give furries fair coverage.
