I started with the iBolt video because unlike me they tried a few. I dabbled with Mastodon and hated it, for the simple reason it did not work for me. The reason I am still on Twitter or X is because that is where I get most of my news. Plan and simple along with following others I like. If it gets as bad as some predict I really don’t know what to do, as cons and retailers update their social media more often than their site if they have one. I guess my only alt is jump on whatever Discord or Telegram they happen to be on… if they have an official one. I am pretty lucky with the 2 MFF groups I belong on Telegram, as several MFF Staff members are on their as well and I do get some insider news. The Volunteer platform really does get into detail. You know they start planning for next year the moment the con for that year ends?!!!
So the X Alts… Bluesky seems the best for now but I need an invite. So I wait what else can I do, I have to support my followers and they are like me still on Twitter or X. If I do set anything up I’ll post it here. Even if I get on Bluesky I still will update X as long as I have the followers.
