Means Furry News
Let’s hit you with things I have been keeping back.
Furry Migration completely sold out both Sponsors and Super Sponsors. Also on Sunday they dropped the badge price to just $10.
On Friday when the Con Store opened up they were actually giving away items, up to an including a FREE Tee. Oh sure it was an older one, but hey you can’t pass up on free.
They had a 2nd Photographers Panel, mine you it was not on the original schedule. But informative.
The Sticker Trade Panel had 2 effects. 1 I managed to get some fantastic stickers. But 2, apparently not everyone was traded away. A lot frankly wound up on tables people used to drop cards and whatever. I snatched up more than I did during my last 3 cons.
Speaking of Stickers. A lot of the Dealers had fantastic ones. I have never bought that many before this.
The Fursuit Games were amazing
4 teams and plenty of action
Saberspark had an unscheduled panel in Main Events, this is on the one he did the previous night on very adult animated films. Called SMASH or BASH, I am sorry I missed that one.
Nerf Wars, I can’t even tell you the pure number who told me I had to check it out.
If you need an excuse to go to Furry Migration, this might be it.
Then sadly came the Closing Ceremony, that is when the surprises started
I will skip the stuff we see at every con. Saberspark got asked back at GOH and happily accepted. Also admitted they were a furry.
On the way out we got this

Somewhere around Furry Times HQ I have the actual card. I am curious to see what form this takes next year. But sadly I won’t be attending.
The reason for this is bills, once most are paid I will be planning another trip. But not until then.
Lastly Furry Logic was supposed to be there, but had to cancel when they caught COVID.

Here it is in all of its glory-check out the full lineup for Woofstock 2024 hosted by Paws Outdoors and Floof Doof! We can’t wait to see you on the dancefloor-tickets are still available so GET AMONGST IT!

I know it happens to some and good or bad it happened to me on Saturday. Where you are having a good time and something you feel is off.
I even went for a walk to get a soda at a nearby Target and hoped that would help it didn’t.
My day at Furry Migration began with a panel on Irish Music. It was quite peaceful.
Then I had to get set up for the Fursuit Parade, got my camera and tripod all set and when it started my camera, it didn’t I had technical issues. Nothing serious, just something a new SD card and battery can fix. On top of that my phone gave me an error code. A reset fixed that, but it was the first time I ever had with my phone. So no video from me… But it was recorded by someone else.
A very special thanks to Iron Coyote for getting the parade at an angle I never thought of.
Wild fursuits, the gay pride ones were a real surprise.
Saberspark had his first panel talking about BAD animated films. I swear people lined up to get in that one during the parade.
That Photographer Panel was great. I learned so much about my own cameras and what it would take to get a better one that wouldn’t cost an arm and a spleen.

Yes mine is there, but I am not saying which one.
The schedule Streetpass Panel was beyond amazing. I got 72 hits during the entire con, and almost more than my 3DS could handle at one time. With almost no doubles. Strange enough I have been hearing about people buying the 3DS just for Streetpass
I will NEVER take anything away from the dancers they all deserved to win
But something strange happened happened around 7pm. Call it the weird luck of that day.
I had planned to go to Furry Price is Right, and record it. When I noticed it not only started early but ended just at 7:05pm
I wish I could tell you why, but no one I spoke with had an answer
Part 3 soon
Got to make this extremely clear I am talking about a con that took place in Thailand, not the one in the US.

FurSquare comes to an end after 6 years.
_
For over six years, FurSquare has provided a space for everyone to buy and sell furry merchandise. However, this year we’ve made the difficult decision to bring the FurSquare journey to an end. We want to express our deepest gratitude for all the support we’ve received to all our team members, both directly and indirectly involved, to the circles, and to every attendee.
We cannot deny that without each and every one of you, FurSquare wouldn’t have become what it is today. Although the story and journey of Jasper, Wily, and FurSquare have ended, it’s now time for you, our friends, to begin writing your own stories and embarking on new adventures.
