Hi folks! Can you believe it, it’s only 90 days until Scotiacon! We’ve pulled together a few reminders so that you can make sure you’re Registration Ready by the time you arrive to collect your conbadge in February.
Don’t forget that registration closes on January 4th 2025! If you want to join us make sure to register before then. Also, no changes to any existing registration can be made after this date, so if you need to change your T-shirt size after a festive feast, let us know quickly!
Badges! Don’t forget to add an image to your conbadge and check out our fursuit badges to add one or more for £3 each (the first one is free!) if you’re bringing a fursuit. Fursuit badges will close on November 30th 2024 and conbadge images will close when registration closes!
Early/Late Days and Sponsor Options: Want to add the sponsor option or an early or late day to a residential registration? You can still do this until registration closes! Drop our Registration team an email at registration@scotiacon.org.uk and let them know.
New for 2025! Please be aware, if you’re travelling from outside the UK and Europe there is a new requirement to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling to the UK, even if you’ve travelled to us before. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta for more details.
Finally: Don’t forget your ID! You’ll need to show it when picking up your conbadge at the convention. It must be in date, government issued or with the holographic PASS logo, and show your photo, date of birth, and legal name. Remember; no ID, no con, so please don’t forget!
