I fully admit I took this one from Instagram. Mainly because it was the oddest thing I ever seen in the fandom. Is this a anti Aquatifur ad, or a pro Chicago Marathon. You got me, but as the title says the dates don’t match.
The Marathon is Oct 11, a 1 day event Aquatifur is a 3 day event.
Actually living in Chicago I have some experience attempting to see the event. Unless you get to whatever spot you plan to watch by at least 7AM you might as well forget it. Even if you picked a spot where it shouldn’t be all that crowded it is.
Even then when this is all over and you want to head home. It can literally take hours. Like getting home around 10pm or later. Every year I run across someone who usually had to walk miles home.
Frankly it is so bad, most Chicago residents avoid taking any and all public transport the entire day. Or any of the effected routes.
Watch it on TV or streaming.
Unless your actually going to run in the marathon. But even then you would of had to make your plans months ago.
