A good friend “Blue Screen” had this wild idea. While they were at MFF this year, they track down protogen and give away old computer parts, very similar to a meme they saw. My friend made it very clear that they were junk parts.

He took an entire box of junk parts.

Now for the amazing thing, he managed to give them all away, everyone took for what it was something silly.

You might be wondering why, many already had plans.

According to “Blue Screen”, they will be doing this again next year. Keep an eye out for us at MFF 2026

I can’t believe I am saying this but MFF 2025 was WILD. From the Opening to Closing it was one of the best conventions I ever been.

From something simple as the artwork to the new Dealers area. Which strangely enough had a common story. They walk in and immediately their jaw hits the concrete floor. It was BIG

Over 400 Dealers and 5 restaurants. If you could not find something, you simply weren’t looking

At Closing they mentioned the Art Show had over $90000 + in sales. One dealer mentioned that over all the Dealers sold more than $200,000 in sales. Mind you all of this is going directly to furry businesses. We support one another.

Those who decided not to come for whatever the reason. Just plain messed out. The panels were simply great, many were outstanding.

One great one that a lot misses was FurFest District Court Hosted by Bandit was simply wild. Think of a fake court show done for laughs, with fake crimes and even meaningless decision. It was great.

Say what you will about con themes, but the one for 2026

They even had a Marty McFly fursuiter during closing

Joining us from 44 countries, and including 1572 Sponsors, 297 Shiny Sponsors, and One Goose with a Knife; We wouldn’t be anything without our 16,925 attendees.

Editor’s Note that is only 125 over last year. I hate to say this but MFF numbers are stagnating. Lets hope it was because think the old leadership was running things. Believe me things have changed for the better.

I really hope that they make it a real poster, I want one.

It started out simply enough with the Sponsors Brunch.  An all you can eat festival of wonderful food.

Like usual, I ate too much

Did get my Skybridge video done.

But finally able to check out the Dealers area. 400 plus dealers plus 4 restaurants. I missed a BBQ place.

Believe me going there when it first opens. Because of the crowd you miss so much.

Believe me i did not forget the some 240 artists.

That photo was taken very early Saturday. Believe me it filled up later.

Ever get so sidetracked you miss what you really wanted. Happened a few times.

Panels were great a friend even got some silly art for free.

But the Main Event was Floor Wars. Simply fantastic

I am facing the final day with a couple of inches of snow on the ground.

The Opening Ceremony was fantastic! Totally non traditional no table, no gimmicks. This new leadership brought a fresh look to a con that been around for 20 plus years. Which included to fantastic dance numbers by fursuiters.

I know what some of you are going to say. That is from Reg . But look at the table on the far right. This is Dealers Den. With some 400 Dealers. As well as 3 restaurants.

Our favorite poke bowl place was thete.

The food was great. To be honest we missed a panel because we were still checking out Dealers.

Some how managed to get a commission.

And my friend and a old friend whom I haven’t seen in a while. Head on down to the Fursuit Games.

Amazing, despite all that effort. Sadly they didn’t win.

Had the dumpest thing the batteries fell out of my main camera.  Don’t understand why. Need to get replacements once this is all over.

From Reg we made our way through a deserted Artist Marketplace. You won’t see it this empty to next year.

Turns out if your wondering what happened to the poke bowl place.

It got replaced with a taco stand. More on there food later.

The poke bowl place got moved to the concession stand now inside the Dealers Den.

Speaking of food, they brought back that stand by the other escalator.
