Get Ready for it

Stay Tuned….
Means Furry News
As my coverage is winding down I am having less and less to talk about LOL!!
But I came up with a few things Dealer’s Den and Artist Alley is the 1st that come to mind
Okay the room was small, but the selection was great. I am sitting here next to a pile of stickers some of which I got for free. Waiting to be applied to my laptop. I got some really good ones, and that cat butt key chain I got for a friend they totally love. I swear I found a better selection of items at IFC than the last MFF.
There charity Exotic Animal Rescue and Pet Sanctuary is amazing. To date they are the only ones who clearly understand why I don’t want a pet currently. We talked about so much stuff I highly respect all of their work.
The Sponsor’s Lounge OMG!!!
It was a nice quiet spot where you could sit down and have a drink soda or water as well as a snack. I heard they occasionally served meals. The only problem I never found out when.

The staff was fantastic by pure accident and a crowded restaurant I was offered to share a table and soon joined by 2 board members. We all had a nice conversation, lets just say I learned a lot.
I also confirmed a rumor I heard about MFF’s 2022 tees as in the number sold. It was at least 31,000, and who plain knew that the cons in the general area around Chicago often shared things like stages and back drops. This equipment gets used. It just plain makes sense.
And speaking about food, the hotel created a Special Menu Option

Plus they had an Unlimited Margarita Special for Breakfast all you can drink for $5
More tomorrow
The 2 dragons

I got the full story from operations and here it is. The Blue Dragon went up for auction at AnthrOhio and Security/ Ops had the winning bid with help from other’s helping out.
It was soon adopted as Indy Fur Con’s Unofficial Mascot.
Soon after IFC wanted a second one so they could put it up for auction this year. So they contacted the maker, by the way the dragon is crotchet and has as much yarn as a crocheted blanket. So that is how they got the red dragon. I have no idea how much it sold for due to the fact I was at other events.
A big deal was made by some over Reg Line. Some complained they waited about 4 hours, given what I saw they were working as fast as they could, but they need to learn what the bigger cons do. MFF can process over 700 per hour. They should use a PC more but MFF learned the hard way as previous years had wait times of over 7 hours
