Unwanted Person in Fursuit Parade Anthrocon 2025

Anthrocon was made aware of a controversial individual who participated in the Fursuit Parade on July 5th, 2025. After careful review with our team members, we believe that this individual specifically and intentionally circumvented our Event and Safety measures (including costume review) with the intention of causing a scene and disruption.

We want to reassure the members of our community that this individual  is not allowed membership at Anthrocon now or in the future. Given the urgent and sensitive nature of the individual’s actions, we took special exception to our policy of not discussing bans or banned individuals as we want our attendees to know that we hear them and take their concerns seriously.

Anthrocon strives to be a positive and supportive member of our furry community. The Anthrocon staff and venue partners want to thank everyone for their patience and information as we endeavor to host the best furry event that we possibly can. Sincerely, Anthrocon, Inc.

How to Register

New for Anthrocon 2025: Our Registration system has now changed! Please read the following instructions in order to successfully purchase your conbadge for Anthrocon 2025.

  • Register for an account by visiting our new Registration portal on October 21st, selecting “Register”, and following the instructions.
  • Once your account is registered and verified, select “Register for AC2025” from the menu and select your desired level. Available levels will be displayed starting October 21st at 12 PM Eastern Daylight Time. Sold out levels will not be visible.
  • Fill out the form and select “Register”. Your registration is now held in stock, but not completed.
  • Select “View Cart” and complete checkout. (important, as your membership is NOT confirmed until you check out)
  • For Ultrasponsors and Supersponsors, additional ticketed event options will be visible once your registration is held in stock.

There are several levels of memberships available for purchase. We recommend registering online as you’ll save some money and receive some advance perks (depending on your level). The key dates for Anthrocon 2025 registration are:

  • Online Pre-registration: October 21, 2024 – June 15, 2025
  • On-site registration: July 4-6, 2025
