As you may know, we had decided to postpone the convention due to the COVID-19 outbreak initially back in April of 2020 to have the convention scheduled for upcoming April 9th – 11th, 2021. We have worked with both the hotel and local government and have been constantly monitoring the state restriction due to covid. We are happy to announce that we have new dates for Golden State Fur Con 2022.
The new dates for Golden State Fur Con are April 8th-10th, 2022.
In regards to registration and vendor fees that have been paid, they have automatically rolled over to the new Golden State Fur Con dates. At this time, unfortunately we cannot allow for refunds of previously registered attendees. Badge and hotel block will be reopening soon with updated cons dates. At this moment we are still working on any restrictions the state and hotel will require to attend this con. Once we have all the information, we will announce those changes.
We would like to also happily announce that Corgi Events LLC as a company will be moving towards becoming a non-profit organization, or a 501c3. We are working with a lawyer to make this transition. As of right now, we do not have a specific timeline on when this will come into effect, but we are working swiftly at making this happen as soon as we are able, and will post updates as soon as we have them.
Thank you all for your patience as we are moving forward during this season of covid.
