The Sprawl Review

I picked up The Sprawl while looking for material to post reviews later from MFF. I want to say I knew nothing about it, and maybe your the same. But what I found WOW!!!!
The Sprawl is:
Sci-fi/horror meets dark fantasy on a dead world. Its only inhabitants are the descendants of an ill-fated colonization mission.
Now, the descendents live huddled together in an ever-growing mega-city known as The Sprawl.
After a survey expedition disappears at the south pole, a search and rescue mission is dispatched. Tasked with discovering the fate of the expedition what they uncover could unleash unfathomable horrors upon all those who inhabit The Sprawl.
The Sprawl is rated Mature. It contains scenes of violence, horror and nudity.
But what I found was the most intense and action packed tale that I hadn’t seen the likes of since and I am not joking Spawn. Not only is it very well written, but the one I picked up should be called a graphic novel, and not just a comic.
As the description above says it is mature, and I promise if you love intense action give The Sprawl a chance. You will not be disappointed.
1-3 of the comics are available as a collection and they do have a volume 4

Further Confusion 2022 Cancelled
The saga that surrounded Further Confusion 2022 is a sad one
It began with this Jan 3rd post on Twitter
To our attendees and supporters. We hear you. We understand how time sensitive this situation is. Due to the unfortunate timing of this Holiday season, gathering more information has been challenging. However, at this time, we are planning to hold the event on the original dates.
Then this 2 part post appeared on Jan 5th
Friends of Further Confusion, due to COVID and a loss of staff, panelists, dj’s, vendors, & dealers the following events have been cancelled: Night Market, Party Floor, Parade, FCU, Dance Comp, Critterlympics, food vendors.
In addition, there will be reduced services for: art show, dealers, and fursuit photos.
Then just 1 day later this message was on their official site LINK
We want to thank everyone for their understanding and patience during this challenging time. As you know, the COVID-19 Omicron surge has hit suddenly and powerfully, leaving many scrambling to determine how to adjust to stay safe as infections spike significantly.
It is with great regret that we announce that Further Confusion 2022 will not take place as scheduled, January 13 – 17, 2022. At this time we are exploring options with our venues for future dates, and will make announcements as news warrants.
This decision was not made lightly, as this not only impacts our attendees, but the many dealers, vendors, hotel and union employees who rely on events like ours for their livelihood. After exploring all of our options and grappling with the rising number of staff, vendors, and attendees who would be unable to attend, we feel that we do not have the capacity to put on a safe event as originally scheduled.
We want to give our thanks to the San Jose Convention Center, Team San Jose, and our hotel partners (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt Place, Westin), who have been working tirelessly to find a solution that would work for us. These venues have treated us extremely well over the years and should be commended for the challenges they are facing during this time, and the concessions that have provided FurCon in trying to make this all work. They have been on our side the whole way, and we are grateful for their efforts. We ask our attendees to be considerate to our venues as they work through this with us.
