Turning Red have gotten reviews so far that either praise the film or bash it… so where does mind fit in? Somewhere the the middle.

Turning Red is a very enjoyable film, for a while I felt like red panda hairs were on me some how. I really enjoyed how the character Meilin “Mei” Lee interacted with her friends and family. Oh what a family, without going into spoilers they play a big part in this film and Meilin “Mei” Lee’s grandma is a big part of that. So is discovering who you really are.

I will go on record that it is no Zootopia. But I did enjoy Turning Red. That’s why I said I am in the middle. I can recommend it and give it a 7 out of 10. Old or young as long as you enjoy animated films you will love Turning Red.
