The expedition is over! New animal species have been named, the jungles explored, artefacts pilfered catalogized and put into museums. We’ve had 274 furs from 23 countries. With UmbreoNoctie to guide us as guest of honor, we’ve been drawing, dancing, auctioning, fursuiting, saw a musical, built airships and partied through the night.
Your amazing generosity on striptease, auction and other charity events earned 83.000 CZK (~3.320 EUR) + extra one time donation from tshirt sales 20.000 CZK (~790 EUR), which makes a total of 103.000 CZK (~4.120 EUR) for Jaro Jaroměř, our charity partner for this year. You guys rock, it’s another record!
Thank you for being with us and making Česfur the con it is, we couldn’t do it without you. Extra thanks to those of you that participated on con preparations or helped to keep it running, you’re wonderful! We hope to see you all next year, because even a fall of civilization can’t stop Česfur in 2025!
Since I hadn’t been to an anime con in a couple of years, I decided to go. Lets just say it was a unique experience. Oh sure I saw some furries, but I guess because of the weather… it was in the 80s. Most decided to leave their fursuits at home.
You would believe this was Reg
and The Dealer’s Area was equally light
It wasn’t until I took a look at the schedule that most of the events got moved to later in the day.
How empty was it?
I will go on record saying it wasn’t a ghost town. People did show up later like after Noon, and even then it started for them at the ConSweet
Of course finding it was difficult as the above video shows
Even once I got there, it was still easier taking the direct route back than it was to take the Skybridge
So after about 1PM it really started to get crowded, and did finally had a good time.
My one suggestion if there is something you really want hit the Dealer’s area in the morning.
