FWA is currently the 2nd largest fur con in the world. Literally just behind MFF.

So how big a jump was this over 2022? Try 7212 which means it jumped by more than 3000.

Although it is impossible at this point to know what the final numbers will be at both MFF and Anthrcon. I am willing to say that both will be up, how much?

Sadly this is a story you hear quite often, someone using fake cash at a fur con and the recent FWA is no exception. The problem is common and I think, given my own experience. Hotels are extra careful about taking cash during any con. So please be careful and check out this helpful guide

Brevard school board likely to ban furry attire in updated dress code

That title came from an article from Florida Today It’s filled with the usual misinformation to top it all off this quote

“We could be worrying about discipline, but sure, let’s ban cat ears,” said Paul Roub, one of the speakers during the public comments section of the meeting. “Discipline is tough and complicated. Conformity, that’s easy. That’s simple, and it only makes the weirdos uncomfortable.”

They are calling us weirdos.

Here is the most interesting fact they have a mascot Buddy the Bobcat

Interesting enough the proposed changes to the dress code also bans Buddy. No wonder he looks scared
