Anthro New Mexico Announces Hotel

And the Winner is Crown Plaza

Which is only 8 minutes from the Amtrak Station by car. Oh BTW the train usually stays about a half hour due to a maintenance inspection. So you have a chance to both load and unload whatever you bring

From Somewhere in New Mexico

Once again, i find myself in the middle of a 3 day journey.  From Chicago to LA and back again.

After without a doubt the most unusual start.

You get your seat assignment 90 minutes before if leaves. Then within an hour before departure they tell you what track.

Everything went well, and like i said i am somewhere in New Mexico currently.

One more day and another post until i get home.

California Trip: Last Day

Here it is my final day. Got most of my stuff packed and ready. In a few hours one of my cousins will take me to the train station where i start my return journey.

Yesterday was more or less uneventful.  Finally after getting the right direction made my way to the Beach of Malibu.

No one ever says there is a huge drop in elevation.

Lastly i went orange picking with my cousins and a friend of their’s.

It was fun, and it turns out that fresh oranges do taste better

California Science Center…. and

Frankly with the days dying down and I can clearly see one of my cousins thinking I been here too long. We went to the California Science Center. https://californiasciencecenter.org/

They do have a couple of advantages It’s free and it’s almost as good as the Air and Space Museum. Although in a bit of expansion, this will include a Space Shuttle and A SR-71 Blackbird.

But I think the most unexpected this was the Da Vinci exhibit

Filled with modern recreations of his inventions and let me tell you they were amazing.

Speaking of amazing In-N-Out burger

I literally given them 5 Stars food was excellent
