Pawstral (Chile) DDoS Attack

Official Statement: Delay in Ticket Pre-sale
Dear Pawstral Community,

We would like to inform you that starting at 10:00 PM, the scheduled time for our ticket pre-sale, our servers began experiencing a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. This volume of external and malicious traffic has temporarily disabled access to our sales platform.

We know that many of you were eagerly waiting for this moment, and we fully understand the frustration, concern, and uncertainty this situation may cause. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

We want to provide total peace of mind regarding two fundamental points:

Inventory remains intact: The ticket office is currently on pause. Only two tickets were sold before the attack began; therefore, no one has missed out on their chance to purchase.

Security is guaranteed: This type of attack aims to overwhelm the site so it fails to load, but it does not compromise or breach personal data or financial information. Furthermore, we have active protection systems in place that are helping contain the situation while our technical team works on stabilization.

Our technical team is already actively working to mitigate the attack and restore server stability. To ensure a fair and uninterrupted purchasing process, the pre-sale will remain paused until further notice.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, understanding, and the constant love you show Pawstral. We are doing everything necessary to resume this process under the conditions you deserve.

We will announce the new opening time exclusively through our official channels once the system is 100% stable.

Thank you deeply for your patience, understanding, and support.

YouTube RAW Numbers

Originally I thought I had the current state of Furry YouTube figured out.

I fully admit I post videos when I want and not according to any algorithm. But still despite this, my videos use to get good numbers. My MFF Skybridge videos have average between roughly 600 to 2.7k… in the past. But 186 currently

Then there is the YouTube shorts up until this year they use to hover around 150. But this year 1.3k to 2k

Oh sure it is true what others have said of what furry videos use to get to now. But still some videos like music Infurnity 2025 : Furtopia a musical video by Polar Lion Studio has gotten 3.8k+

Then there are the non furry videos like ones by Steven Colbert some getting as high as a million views.

One explanation is the audience has changed. The YouTube numbers are real and I invite anyone who doubts this to check for themselves.

I think it has gotten to a point where do many have made the same video, or have recorded a boring videos. That the audience has shifted.

It’s not that furries have left YouTube, they are just demanding better videos.

Boring ones = low numbers.

Exciting or entertaining videos = over 1k

As to the shorts. People want to see what you can fit in YouTube’s current short limit of 3 minutes. Frankly if MFF was still open. I wound do a Skybridge video broken up until as many parts as it would fit and safely record it… without getting run over by the crowd. You seen my videos.

It’s not that they have lost interest. They just want it in short form

The numbers I see tell me I need to make some changes. Be more selective. Think of the entertainment value. That maybe a harsh way of looking at things. But that is what the numbers say.

Also posting on other platforms? It comes down to how well they know you. My short videos frankly have done well on YouTube. Meanwhile on Instagram less than 10 views.

My next convention is Indy Fur Con, I am going to make some changes and we both will see.

An Interesting Pony Blog: GoogleChrome

Which begins with an interesting story, I met the blog’s owner at my local furmeet. I find the humor used on the site is funny, also I find it very interesting that the main characters names are also the names of web browsers. I even admit some of the art found on GoogleChrome I would use here. Although I don’t really get the fascination with ponies. I do know you have your own fandom and there will be a pony con at Navy Pier in Chicago sometime in 2016. You can find a link in the newly added ‘Other Blog’ category and HERE
