Usually I don’t feature badges unless it is something special and what KradenArt is doing especially for FurDu (Australia) just blows the mind of this Proud Retro Gamer

I’m producing ‘Game Case’ con-badges for
@FurDUcon in 2023! Get a ‘game style’ case for your con-badge. On theme, and looks great on a shelf afterwards! (and convenient storage?) Only 13 slots available!

This has to be one of the most remarkable things I ever saw in the fandom period. FurDu an Australian fur con both opened and closed it’s registration on Sept 1st, 2022. No it wasn’t a server glitch, they SOLD OUT.

That was taken HERE
The reason behind it is simple the Australian govt has a limit on large gathering such as fur cons all because of COVID. Although I can’t say for certain what that number was I believe from previous postings that it is somewhere between 500 and 600.

And once again the above was posted on the very same day Reg opened.

Hey everyone,
Today, we’ve decided to move the release date of FurDU 2023 Game On by 14 days. The new con dates are May 12- 14 2023.
We sincerely apologize to anyone who has already taken leave, sorted flights or booked accommodation somewhere nearby the hotel.
You will note that the option to reserve a room at the The Crowne Plaza is unavailable in advance of the booking portal going live (same time as rego release). This change was made to ensure hotel rooms are available for those looking to stay on-site at our brand new 2023 venue.
Please do not contact the hotel to try and arrange a booking for the new dates, any pre-existing bookings made will not be rolled over to the new dates as they have not been booked as part of the event, you will need to contact the hotel to cancel your booking and re-book when the FurDU booking portal goes live.
In order to secure rooms at the Crowne, the date registrations go live has been moved forward to September 1 2022.
…We also decided to put this on a yellow background… (Sorry)
