MFF 2024 Last Day

My last day was mainly a friend trying to convenice another friend to come… at least on the last day. BTW all we know is they stuck to the Dealer’s area. Beyond that we did not hear a word.

Even what we actually did wasn’t really much, the panel on Furry History Preservation was excellent. The host did a good job, despite the main question came from me, Scar and a member of Flayrah.

Fursuit Games – Sunday Edition was great.

Now I have positive proof that the Sunday edition is some 15 mins shorter than the one held on Friday.

The Journalism panel, I am sorry to say it’s host did not seemed well informed. I say that because he insisted the only furry news sites was Dogpatch and Flayrah. Taking away all the hard work and and dozens of others who try and inform all the furries that support the work we do. I want to pacifically mentioned I made a point about my site, Furry Weekly and GFTV, and topped that off by giving him one of my cards.

Then there was Closing Ceremony

Oh yes, every seat was taken

MFF 24 Floor Wars

Running just shy of 3 hours, was the best damn edition of Floor Wars I ever see.

Missed a panel but it was worth it.

Catch Up is More Than Just For Fries

Even though i missed a panel or 2. We had to hit the Dealers Area when they opened. Main reason it was to damn crowded yesterday

We went through the whole thing twice. Funny, we usually hit both multiple times, but we only went once.

Got some stuff I will talk about later.

But i think the biggest surprise was the price of a few mini partials. My friend got his a few years ago. They paid roughly $2100. But there i saw partials going for $1,000 to $3000 more

Artist Alley seemed to be the best it ever had been. Good quality artists in any style if work you could ever want

MFF 24 Sponsors Brunch

No joke, i think one of the best perks of being a Sponsor, is the Sponsor Brunch.

Endless sea of food, and it’s all you can eat.

But really everything is great.

MFF 24 What Went Right

Despite taking longer than expected to travel from point A to B with MFF. What can i say, but i enjoyed them. So did my friend, despite coming in 2nd on Friday edition of The Fursuit Games. They are going to try again tomorrow.

Canine meet… great

Game show, Fursuit Games, variety show. All 100% excellent. If your looking for a complaint… It was the crowd. If i hear we had more than 18000 i would not be surprised.

Some panels did run longer than expected.

Overall i did have a good day all topped by an excellent meal from.

Not a plug, but so far, my friend and i ate there 3 times.

Streetpass total so far 28, not bad since no meet was planned.

Did run into a friend by accident. Still no big orange dog. As for my friend and current roommate. They are having the same luck.

MFF 24 Geez It’s Crowded.

Okay it was not unexpected. But why was it that crowded.

It was so bad Artist Alley

That isn’t Reg, that is Artist Alley. In fact, the area around Dealers was so crowded that i could not even snap a photo. Here I expected confusion and not the mad rush of people we got. It was so crowded that many decided to go today.

…and the Sponsors. They had to wait in the Timed Ticket waiting area. Until the crowd had lessened so they could enter.

Even the lobby of the convention center was crowded

MFF 2024 A little news

First up Reg, they got new equipment this year. Faster laptops and a badge printer that only takes seconds.

Sadly my heart goes out to friends and family of Michael Crisi. Mr. Crisi was suppose to be helping out in reg. Then today host the Greymuzzle panel. Sadly Mr. Crisi better known as Dineegla died before the convention began.

MFF 24 The Reg Con

I know a lot have been said about Registration at cons, especially fur cons. Given recent issues, BUT at MFF 2024. Things went FAST they handled the Sponsors in waves. Each one taking no longer than 90 minutes

MFF’24 Heist Crew #5

Welcome to the crew! Name’s Marauder — muscle, safecracker, and all-around heavy lifter. Our crew’s so infamous, we’ve now got our own trading cards. Think you can collect them all? Keep your eyes peeled around MFF and see if you can swipe your own set.
