GAMING WTF?!!!

I have been a gamer for a long time, before the days before Updates and fixing glitches. Back then the only way to fix something is reissue the entire game on another cartridge. Revenge of Shinobi Genesis/ Mega Drive has no less than 7 versions.

But I know that title drew you here. I watch Spawn Wave and a few other gaming sites I follow regularly to keep an eye out for what is going on. I say now more than ever. You can go to a store or some site and say to yourself WTF?!!!

I swear I see endless posts saying the Switch 2 is a total disaster and it will put Nintendo under. Which is a total lie, the Switch 2 is doing fine. Yes I do agree I think Nintendo is being a bit greedy, but it’s the same when DLC 1st appeared in gaming. My 1st encounter with it was with the PSP. The only thing back then was what other gamers posted. Was this DLC worth it?!!! In a few cases some got labeled as a rip off. While others blew my mind, the DLC for Mario Kart 7 and 8 comes to mind.

For a while as we waited for the gaming companies namely Microsoft and Sony to announce their new console. Rumors had it that the Playstation 3 was going to be the next big thing. I own a PS3 and still think it holds up well against any of the current consoles. Yes I know it hasn’t as many bells and whistles, but have a GTA fan play it on the PS3 they are happy.

But that isn’t what happened.

I might as well start with the T Rex in front of your screen.

That RAM shortage!!!

Which is so crazy it would literally double the price of a PS6 and this comes from Sony directly.

The cause AI, no wonder why I hate it

So if you haven’t already heard, what has literally taken over gaming?

The 3DS

Yes, The 3DS

Want to hear something even weirder?

The Streetpass feature are taking over some panel spots at conventions.

As of when I am typing this, the 3DS was going for $400 on average.

I suggest you check out current prices.

WHY?

I own one and haven’t a clue

The 3DS is a good solid portable, lots of excellent games. Easy to mod, getting games are super easy. Except for a few titles even physical copies aren’t too bad. It also plays DS games. Mario Kart DS is so underrated.

You know what I still haven’t a clue. While playing Mario Kart 7.

I haven’t forgot the Switch 1 and yes I own one. Lots of great games and I love Arcade Archives. Getting games you rarely see these days. Is truly wonderful.

Still am unsure what Nintendo is going to do

Games are still being quietly released to the Switch and yes I agree a lot of it is shovelware. But yet the Switch 1 version of that Sonic racing game is incredible. I didn’t know that it was even capable. In fact in my opinion the best looking Switch 1 game ever.

No wonder a lot of us, including myself are confused.

Will this get any better?

Like a lot of us, it comes down to wait and see.

Nintendo Direct

I know this seems like a strange thing to talk about here. But I am a Gamer I own roughly 600+ videogames. I also own a Switch with so far 27 games. But this Nintendo Direct I felt there are some games I need to comment on.

I know a lot to take in, and those are left to other YouTubers. Here is what blew me away.

Super Mario RPG, I have been wanting this one ever since it was released to the SNES

I want this one, I played it via emulation and it’s a fantastic game and I am talking about the SNES original. To have it available for the Switch makes me happy, at least I don’t have to pay $100 for a used copy of the SNES version. It’s hard to comment on such a unique title, let me tell you SUPER FUN!!!

Metal Gear Solid

An absolute MUST OWN for any Metal Gear fan, but from what I hear make sure you have a big enough micro SD card this game is over 60GB

Batman: Arkham Trilogy

What can I say it looks amazing, and it at least it won’t have the bugs as the original releases. I know they were fixed with patches. But still it looks amazing.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Definitely not your father’s Mario game, it’s totally amazing and super fun.
