Scotiacon Confirms next IN PERSON Con dates

Hello again everyone,

We hope you are staying safe and keeping well. It has been a difficult time and we have wanted to try and make things as easy as possible which makes this announcement very difficult.

Due to some communication errors, the dates we believed we had confirmed for the convention have turned out to be incorrect. We only learned this recently and appreciate this is going to be an inconvenience to those who have booked time off. We can only apologise profusely for this.

The confirmed dates for the convention are 11th-13th February (a week after the formerly announced dates).

We want our 10th convention to be the best it can possibly be and the whole team is committed to bringing the experience so many of you have enjoyed in previous years to a brand new and fantastic venue.

Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we try to navigate through the various obstacles we have been facing in order to put on an event we want as many people to enjoy as possible.

Fauntastic Sets Date for Virtual Con from their Telegram

🇬🇧 Hi everyone!

Our small online event eFaun is back for the summer 🌴! We welcome you on saturday, july 31st from 14:00 for a nice and chill time until the end of the night. We’ll be offering talks, games, streams, as well as a Dealers’ Den, and of course a lot of good vibes!

❗️ Please note that a majority of the panels will be in french only for this event. The Dealers’ Den remains available in english if you’d like to support our amazing artists!

❗️ eFaun will take place on a Discord server that will be shared before the beginning of the event on our social medias (Telegram, Twitter).

There will be a cut back to some meals offered at certain reg levels and a 500 person registration cap for this year’s event.

While this is to ensure everyones health and safety, we know it can feel kinda bogus, as such we’ll be lowering the prices for some reg levels a bit.

Suit up: Date set for Anthrocon’s full furry return in 2022

In an article recently posted by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette

Anthrocon, the convention featuring people dressed in anthropomorphic fursuits, is planning its in-person return to the Steel City in 2022.

According to a listing at the the David L. Lawrence Convention Center’s website, the gathering is being planned next summer from July 1-3.

“We are looking forward to Anthrocon’s return in 2022 and are excitedly anticipating seeing everyone in person and making the return of Anthrocon 2022 the best Anthrocon ever,” Anthrocon organizers said.

A few weeks ago Uncle Kage warned of crooked dealers and of how Anthrocon was looking for solutions. The sad fact is that cons have always had their issues with crooks. There are a few that happened at MFF I know about. This is why it is so important when a commission goes wrong, report it to the con ASAP
