Last week I got this email, at least in the preview if I didn’t act within 48 hours this site would be suspended. There was more than a few problems with this #1 there email would not open. I tried 3 times. #2 the site it came from could not be found in a Google search. Now the big one #3 none of this was from the sites I actually use.

Really folks if you live in the Salt Lake City area you should go. A great party in a good hotel for less than what some hotels charge for parking. If I lived out that way I would go.
Hi! The Good Furry Awards were presented at Anthro SoCal last Friday in Ontario, California. This is the eighth year of the awards, and some special announcements were made.
The Good Furry Awards were founded in 2019 by Grubbs Grizzly and are sponsored by Uncle Bear Publishing (www.unclebearpublishing.com) and the furry advice column Ask Papabear (www.askpapabear.com). Furries are nominated by their peers in three categories: The Good Egg Award for charitable work The Image Award for broadcasting and The Furtastic Award for other works of kindness and generosity Winners receive a handsome trophy and a check for $200. There is also a Lifetime Achievement Award for furries who have dedicated decades of their lives to the furry fandom and have had a significant impact on it.
The winners this year are…
Paco Panda for the Good Egg Award I’m Definitely Not a Popufur for the Image Award and Shy Matsi for the Furtastic Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Uncle Kage.
This year, a one-time-only Special Award was created and presented to Mango Axollama because they have received more nominations (6 out of 8 years, and it would have been 7 but they declined one year) and more votes than any other furry when you combine them over the years. Chair Grubbs Grizzly said, “I was starting to call Mango the Susan Lucci of the furry fandom for being nominated so many times without winning, and I really believed all the generous things he has done for his community merited recognition, so we created this unique award for a unique, kind, and very modest but deserving furry.”
The other important announcement was that the Lifetime Achievement Award will be renamed next year as The Sylys Sable Award for Lifetime Achievement in honor of the late Mark Merlino.
