Changes at MFF 2018
Last year MFF opened up part of the nearby convention center for both a Dealer’s Area and Artist’s Alley. Apart of this was the LOOONNNNGGG passage from the Hyatt Regency to the Donald E. Stephen’s Convention Center.
But MFF 2018 there are major changes to the entire convention, not in how it is run, but how it is laid out. The Main Stage is bigger, The Con Suite was moved, the entire lower level of the hotel is dedicated to gaming Registration, Art Show, Artist Alley is now on the 1st floor of the convention center. Meanwhile, the 2nd Stage is where Artist Alley was last year on the 2nd floor.
Furries will get confused
You think you know where something is and then it turns out it isn’t. The only good thing I can say a lot more people will be grabbing a con book, or checking out the digital maps available around the hotel. It will also make getting from the convention center to the hotel easier, just go downstairs and walk across the street.
I will be reporting on this, as I too got to still get my badge.

EMMET OTTER’S JUG-BAND CHRISTMAS FINALLY RELEASES A SOUNDTRACK ALBUM
Kelley Know on The Nerdist recently posted news about the release of Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas soundtrack album.
Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas may not be the most famous holiday musical — or even really famous at all. The 1977 television Christmas special from Jim Henson is now probably best known for the hilarious blooper reel, featuring Muppets performer Frank Oz, widely shared earlier this year. (Oz’s voice for Ma Otter was later replaced by the lovely voice of Marilyn Sokol, and her sweet singing is one of the highlights of the HBO special.)
The soundtrack is written by Muppets mainstay Paul Williams, who also composed songs for The Muppet Movie and The Muppet Christmas Carol. The Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas soundtrack, which even includes the bonus, unreleased song “Born In A Trunk,” is now available in physical and digital release on Spotify, Amazon Music, and iTunes.
I am not big into Christmas or it’s music but Emmet Otter is one of the sparkling gems of the season, the music is truly wonderful.
The Paws That Refreshes
Movie Review: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald
Who hasn’t seen the trailer for this film? Believe me, seeing the trailer vs. watching the actual film is 2 completely different things. The film was incredible, that opening scene is better than most I have seen in the James Bond series. Filled with so many twists and turns, if anyone said they knew it was going to happen is a complete and total lie. J.K. Rowling has completely outdone herself, as this film had me on the edge of my seat to the very end. Which only left me wanting more as the ending credits went by.
I am trying to keep this as spoiler free as possible…but holy cow!!! Heroes become traitors, people and characters actually die. Names you will completely recognize from the Harry Potter series, and more than wondering why Dumbledore went from a nice 3 piece suit to bejeweled robes.
This is nothing short of a revolution in more ways than one to any fan.
Really I can not wait for the sequel
Overall 10/ 10
Events of The Last 3 days
As I mentioned previously I had some work done on my PC which actually caused me to lose my Login data at WordPress. It has literally taken me until just a few minutes ago to log back in. I want to thank everyone for being for patient especially with MFF coming up just next week. It seems there are major changes at MFF this year, for one Registration and the number 2 stage is now in the convention center. Meanwhile, the entire lower level of the Hyatt Regency is now dedicated to gaming. Is this going to lead to a lot of confusion? I will be reporting on that at and more, I also hope to do more videos. Like the one, I posted last year something different. Speaking of different my connection to All Fur Media also means possibly LIVE reports from MFF.
More in the upcoming days
