ABC was better known as the Austrailia Broadcasting Company has posted an article in support of furries. Dealing with the bad rumors about the fandom.

To quote the article.

Furries are fans of animal characters with human personalities and features.

It encompasses comics, art and animation, but it’s the costumes that they are best known for.

From wearing ears and tails to expensive, custom-made, full character suits, fans have diverse ways of celebrating their unique passion.

Conventions in the United States can attract tens of thousands of attendees.

Almost 700 Furries have gathered on the Gold Coast for the ninth annual Furry Down Under (FurDU).

FurDU chairwoman Christine Bradshaw said the community often gets a bad rap that it is all about sex.

“There’s some bad connotations,” Ms Bradshaw said.

Republican Politician Rep. Kelly Townsend Asked Twitter What a Furry Is

How could anyone remain a Republican after reading the article as featured in Teen Vogue on the fandom is beyond me?

To quote the article

Rep. Kelly Townsend, who last month threatened to sue teachers who were on strike in Arizona, asked on Twitter to be educated about what a furry is after someone claimed she had been “logically destroyed” by one. The question came after someone who performs at furry conventions made a point about education and socialism in response to Townsend’s claims that an educator was giving interviews to a Russian news outlet.

Karno’s Klassics #8 is the best of the 3 I posted so far. The plot is Patrick AKA Savage Squirrel is getting married. Caroline his fiance’s father works for the mob and actually helped rescue Caroline after she had been kidnapped.

10 / 10 excellent

There are really only 2 things to this issue, People you meet at parties comic and pin-ups. The comic is okay with all the talk of furry Nazis it makes a point and the pin-ups are good.

The Carolinian recently posted a piece on the fandom and it’s quite excellent and to quote the piece.

“When I was in middle school and me and my cousin were in the same classroom,” said Hepler, “we would draw comics to each other. Occasionally, she would draw these characters which had animal characteristics to them… I thought that was kind of cool, combining animals with humans. That kind of kept going, and then I got to google and one thing led to another, and I found out what furries were…It’s now just an extension of my personality.”
