The following is a true story of what happened in my apartment building the other day, when a neighbor was to be a new customer for Comcast. Oh the tech did come to hook up their service but there seemed to be a problem…The cable was out. Which has always seemed to be a problem for Comcast, especially in my neighborhood. It was the main reason I dumped their service. Since no one knew when the service would come back. That neighbor cancelled service with Comcast then and there, calling RCN, and early the next day their service was connected.
Update…
As I knew I would be getting, I got a message from Comcast this morning, and given my experiences with them, I figure I better reply to that message this way in a open reply. Rather than contacting them directly…you’ll see why in a second. You see I have told Comcast about this repeated outage problem we have in my neighborhood at least 100 times in the past. I told them at least 4 times directly when I cancelled my service. The last time was when I got that false promise of a rebate for days without service…btw I will not get in to what I figure they owe me. I got service alright lip service. Frankly I would not trust Comcast for one second. Everyone knows this, but it seems Comcast is in total denial mode. Is it no wonder I don’t trust them.
