Recently I finally made the jump to a Smartphone, I won’t say what I got just to say it’s one of the cheaper brands. But it works for me and I been playing around with. What can I say, it’s a new toy to me, all those little apps, some of which I barely understand how to use their controls. I am just happy I can upload photos from my phone now to my Flickr page, and my 7 11 app will allow me to get free stuff. I know I could review all those apps, but I am realist. Also I barely been using some of the apps for barely a week. I also barely understand them. Unlike a lot of you out there. Me now being on Kik, Instagram, Google Hangout, and Swarm it will allow me to cover things I would usually have to wait to post somewhere like my Flickr and Facebook pages before posting it here. Like some local events for example the gathering of the fursuiters at the Brookfield Zoo here in Illinois around October. Which is roughly the same time the Halstead St. Halloween Parade takes place, I didn’t go last year due to a cold. But I often heard it’s wild, and you think us furries are wild, we are generally the calmer ones…lol. Now being on Swarm and Instagram anything that happens at MFF this year. It will be online as it happens. Unlike the last 2 years, I think I might be able to go all 3 days. But it will allow me to check out the food at the Con Suite, in an effort to stretch what cash I have.
I know I will eventually get use to this Smarter than me phone, as well as get use to these apps. But you my readers will benefit from this, by seeing more of the local furry scene in and around Chicago.
