Normally I don’t do reviews, but after seeing Legends of Tomorrow which had it’s debut this past Thursday I knew I had to say something. First off I am a fan of both the Arrow and The Flash, I have rarely missed a single episode of both series, and frankly was looking forward to Legends of Tomorrow. What a disappointment, it seems the series borrows heavily from Doctor Who. Hero rebels from his own people, steals timeship to save the world. That description describes both series exactly, except Legends of Tomorrow their situation is far worse. Vandal Savage an immortal villain who first appeared in a Flash episode. Has just conquered the world and with most of the population dead, what does the Time Masters do, send a bounty hunter to capture or kill Capt Rick Hunter the hero who gathers up the heroes and villains for his crew to beat Savage in the pilot.
Does it get worse, yes I am sorry to say. When Hawk Man and Hawk Girl discovers their son from a previous life. They try and save him, because Capt Hunter informs them he will be dead in 24 hours. Guess what happens, they try and save them and because of that bounty hunter he dies. I found that moment very preachy. Besides in the latest version of Doctor Who they have handled that thing better and a whole lot less preachy. That I am right and your wrong.
That is just the first of 2 episodes that covers the pilot. Unless part 2 gets better I will not be watching this series. I give what I saw 4/10
