The Blood of Life by NightEyes DaySpring Review

It is described as

Radic Horban should have stayed dead—the curse that raised him has brought him endless hunger. Now, a hundred years after he was turned into a vampire, he has returned to the village of his birth to pay his respects to the family he left behind. It was supposed to be a short visit, but the intervention of a leopard named Ekrem has not only cast the events of his past into a new light, but also rekindled desires he thought were beyond him. Yet attacks like the one that doomed Radic are again happening nearby, and he has no desire to let others suffer as he has. Who better to stalk the hunter in the darkness than one now bound to the night?

My Review of Blood of Life

I have to start out by saying this is without a doubt the best vampire book I have ever read.

It isn’t all, blood draining, ripping bodies, abject horror. You get relationships, true affection along with the dangers of being a vampire. The risk of being caught is amazingly high. Along with 100s of things I wonder why they didn’t include in other stories. As where does a vampire draws a line between love and their own death.

How do they survive with a rather large target on their backs.

I tend to do my research when it comes to creatures of horror. Maybe more so than the average reader. To find out that the author never missed a single point is simply amazing.

Blood of Life is simply an amazing novel, it draws you in. You really care about the characters and even dare to wonder how it will end?

Don’t worry I won’t ruin it for you, dare I say it’s better than that famous story? Buy a copy and see for yourself.

Gnoll Tales by NightEyes DaySpring Available Through Amazon

Amazon FINALLY listed Gnoll Tales on Kindle. I could not get this book to get loaded from IngramSpark, but finally, it is there!

What it is about

Anthropomorphic hyenas-or gnolls-get a bad reputation in many fantasy settings, being reduced to little more than slavering, ravenous beasts. Yet what if gnolls were more than just creatures for heroes to fight, but rather a species with their own culture and history?

Gnoll Tales is a collection of twelve myths and folktales in a world rich in magic that offers a different view on gnolls. Join the druid Ingot as he regales with stories ranging from his people’s legends and gods to tales of gnolls simply living their lives.

The Kindle edition is only $5.99
