WPAFW staff are kicking off planning for 2026, and we wanted to share a very important announcement from Manick!
Since 2013 when I started out in Registration to 2018 when I was honored to succeed Blithe as Chair(cat), WPAFW has seen impressive growth. Through all difficulties we’ve encountered, we’ve shown enormous strength. Whether bringing the community together or providing significant support for our local charities, our event has become a major foundation of our local community. The event, started in Swift’s own backyard, continues to evolve and change and grow. The future is one of enormous possibility. I could not be prouder of the work done by the entire staff of WPAFW. I could not be prouder to be entrusted with such a leadership role and to have truly helped usher that growth in.
After many years as Chair, I am passing the proverbial torch, as Swift originally put it, to Rel! From a Chaircat to a Chairdog, we revel in housepet leadership!
Please join me in welcoming Rel as the new chair of WPAFW! Let’s welcome her as warmly as we welcome newcomers and old friends alike. =D
