[Maohe Theater Troupe — Fursuit Acting Workshop: Exploring the Animal Within]

The moment you don a fursuit, what sensations does your body experience? Does your field of vision shift? Does your movement change? Does your center of gravity alter? Does your mindset—or even your resolve—transform?
These very sensations serve as the vital driving force behind your fursuit performance!
In this workshop, we will guide you through a sensory exploration of the body, helping you distill various ways in which the body responds to the world and the natural environment. You will learn to mimic animal behaviors, building up your physical muscle memory. Ultimately, you will apply these skills to your fursuit performances, bringing your characters to life with even greater vividness and authenticity!
